With the regard of the famished ear
For a cellist.
Dusted by grey trails in the air
Over frosted mounds, moths flock
to the unimagineable bereaved
But sorrow is not the only candle
In the night.
Breathe remembrance
With the trust of an exhale
For the long awaited inhale.

 Group Focus : This group is focused around artists, photographers, and writers who put a great deal of thought, effort, and consideration into their work. Each piece in their gallery is a reflection of who they are not just as an artist, but as a person as well. Their work is soulful, honest, beautiful, and compelling. In short, this group is about intricate work, from intricate minds. Submission Guidelines : Everyone is free to join, so don't hesitate to do so. Each folder allows one submission per day, so make sure you're submitting your best work! I'll only be accepting artwork, literature, and photography that possesses depth, emotion, and sincerity. That is the goal of this group. To showcase the most soulful, moving work out there, and to give those artists more exposure. Things To Consider Before Submitting :  Don't hold back your emotions in this group. This group is about transforming emotional potency into art. This group is not about hate, prejudice, or intolerance. So please don't submit art which attempts to make a hateful "statement". Artistic nudity is very welcome, so long as it has emotional and creative impact. Submissions will not be rejected because they lack skill. They will only be rejected if they lack honesty, depth, or effort. The most important thing is that your work is honest, creative, and true to yourself. Be original! Be fearless! If your piece is rejected, please don't stop submitting. The goal of this group is to showcase the best, deepest work an artist can produce. If your piece is denied, it may be because the work didn't feel as honest as it could have. It may seem rushed or unoriginal. In no way is a rejection from this group a declaration that the work is bad, just that it didn't fit the feel this group is going for. |
